The 13-day siege known as the Battle of the Alamo is brought to life daily for San Antonio visitors from across the world, at Battle For Texas: The Experience. Now, the secrets of the museum are coming to life… Battle For Texas now offers guests a journey back in time with its “Night At the Museum” experience, an hour-long theatrical production recreating scenes from the storied history of Texas and engaging visitors with the famous characters who helped shape it.
The night guard leads guests on a lantern-lit tour through the museum after hours, encountering re-enactors who are staged as mannequins that come to life. As they emerge from the shadows the museum, the characters share their perspectives and influence on the story of Texas. The guard carries a mystical Aztec medallion that transports guests through an epic journey into San Antonio during its early years.
Guests brush shoulders with figures such as Spanish Conquistadors, native Tejanos, Davy Crockett, a Mexican Army officer and more, who come to life and offer insight into the story of Texas through their own eyes.
