Since 1993, the Balcones Heights Jazz Festival has captivated jazz aficionados every summer. The 26th Annual Balcones Heights Jazz Festival is proud to announce its summer concert series, which features an all-female lineup for the first time!
This free festival celebrates jazz in and around Texas and brings together jazz lovers for a month of live and entertaining concerts. This year’s headliners and opening acts are widely recognized jazz musicians: Wednesday Ball, Ragan Whiteside, Michelle Carey, Jessy J, Elizabeth Mis, Jeanette Harris, Kayla Waters and Lindsey Webster.
For four consecutive Friday evenings in July and August, the festival’s laid back and family-friendly atmosphere will welcome an estimated 4,000 jazz fans from in and around Texas. The festival located at Wonderland of the Americas Amphitheatre in Balcones Heights will occur July 12th through August 2nd.
Regulars or “jazz babies” have been known to stake out their claim days in advance of the event at favorite spots along the edge of the sparkling reflecting pool and fountains of the city’s main hub, Wonderland of the Americas. Don’t miss out on another great year of jazz!
