Ring in the holidays with this iconic night parade filled with lights, costumed float riders and music. The Ford Holiday River Parade comes to town once more this Friday, November 23rd at 6:00 p.m. Bring family and friends to kick off the holiday season at this community event!
The 38th Annual Ford Holiday River Parade is a San Antonio tradition that kicks off the holiday season with the lighting of the River Walk. Marvel at thousands of twinkling lights as they are hung for all to see. Then, check out the main event: the parade!
The theme for the 2018 parade is "Christmas in San Antonio." Each float will depict a traditional way San Antonians celebrate Christmas. The parade features 28 illuminated floats decorated for the theme. KABB and CW35 will be on-site televising the parade, and if you look closely, you may even spot Santa!
Don’t forget about the Christmas Concert in Arneson Theatre, either. From 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., you’ll get to listen and sing along as all of your favorite holiday hits are performed.
