Improve Your Cooking Skillset with This Bistros and Brasseries Class on Saturday

The Culinary Institute of America’s Texas campus in San Antonio is home to a diverse and energetic community of food lovers, who have a special interest in cuisine. We welcome students seeking a career in culinary or baking and pastry arts, entrepreneurs looking to launch new ventures in the food business, or homegrown chefs who are just looking to expand their skills for friends and family.

On Saturday, September 7th, The Culinary Institute of America will host a Bistros and Brasseries class at 9:30 am.

The words bistro and brasseries may bring to mind fancy French-ness, but the food served in these French cafes is actually casual fare, like cozy comfort foods that come from a rich history of necessity and sustenance. In this class, learn iconic bistro dishes, like beef stewed in red wine, creamy leek and cheese tart, and chocolate mousse—ooh la la!

Culinary Institute of America chefs will demonstrate how to make a classic, French omelets and a decadent croque monsieur, so you can eat like a City of Lights-local any night of the week. If you love food, then The Culinary Institute of America is the only place you need to be this weekend!

You can register for Bistros and Brasseries online now at www.ciafoodies.com.
